Ticket Terms and Conditions

PREAMBLE 

These general terms and conditions apply to all types of tickets, regardless of the rate or method of purchase. All orders are executed exclusively based on these general terms and conditions, which are valid for both natural and legal persons (companies).

1- ADMISSION TICKET PURCHASE

The admission ticket purchase becomes effective with the payment of the admission ticket’s price. With the payment, spectators accept these general terms and conditions. The purchase of admission tickets for resale (trade) is prohibited in general. Admission tickets should be purchased only through the Organiser’s official channels, i.e.: ticketcorner.ch; the Organiser’s office. Official rates are available on the Event’s website theicestmoritz.ch.
After payment, admission tickets are immediately sent to the client’s email address. The QR code on the admission ticket must be exhibited at the entrance.

2- ACCESS TO AND PRESENCE IN THE EVENT AREA

By purchasing a ticket or receiving accreditation, all spectators accept these terms and conditions. The Organiser’s supervisory and security service will carry out admission checks at all official entrances, in and along the Event site, throughout the duration of the Event. Tickets or accreditations will be checked at the Organiser’s official ticket counters and exchanged for a control wristband. The control wristband must be worn for the entire duration of the Event. In case of damage or loss, the wristband will not be replaced.

3- PHOTO/VIDEO RECORDING AND DRONES USE

Spectators are welcome to take videos and photos with their own equipment during the Event in the public areas. Any equipment is allowed except for drones. For safety reasons, the use of unauthorized drones is strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the Event.
Photo and video recording is allowed for the sole purpose of covering the Event in the media and for personal use. The taking of photographs and/or films for advertising or commercial communication purposes is prohibited.

4- ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Spectators are required to respect and protect the natural environment in which the Event takes place. Spectators should prevent any damage or alteration to the surrounding ecosystem, by properly collecting and disposing of waste generated during the Event, following local regulations and any instructions provided by the Organizer.

5- PROGRAM AND CANCELLATION POLICY

The I.C.E. is an open-air event. Therefore, the program may be subject to changes, postponements, or even cancellation depending on weather conditions and for other reasons beyond the control of the Organiser.

At the sole discretion on the Organiser and the Local Authorities, the Event or parts of it might be cancelled also last-minute. The effect will be immediate and without any prior notice needed.
The following rules will be applied:

  • Cancellation of the entire event means that the participating cars cannot be displayed on the frozen lake. In this event, tickets will be fully refunded. This applies to single-day regular tickets pursuant to the cancellation of the Event on the related date. Weekend regular tickets will be refunded only in the event of Cancellation of the entire event on both days. Should the Event take place on one above the two days, Weekend tickets will not be refunded;
  • Partial cancellation of the Event means that the participating cars will be exhibited on the frozen lake, though they will not be able to perform the dynamic session on Saturday. In this event, tickets will not be refunded;
  • In both scenarios – i.e. cancellation of the entire event or partial cancellation of the event – should the Drivers’ Lounge be accessible, tickets giving access to the aforementioned Lounge, either single-day and Weekend tickets, will not be refunded;
  • Tickets purchased on ticketcorner.ch will be refunded directly by the service provider through the original payment method used for the purchase; tickets purchased through the Organiser’s office will be refunded by the Organiser itself by bank transfer upon receipt of the necessary bank details, to be provided via email at info@theicesetmoritz.ch.

Once the order is confirmed by payment, it cannot be cancelled. So, in case of no show due to personal reasons that cannot be attributed to the Organiser or force majeure, tickets will not be refunded.

No other form of refund except for the above is considered. The organiser is not reliable for possible costs arising for spectators/accredited media, in relation to a possible cancellation, including but not limited to travel costs, food and drinks, accommodation, etc.

6- IMAGE PROPERTY RIGHTS AND PRIVACY POLICY

The Organiser shall have the unrestricted right to create, reproduce, and utilize any photographic, video, or other media content capturing participants at the Event for promotional and marketing purposes, both during and after the Event. All participants shall be deemed to have given their consent to such use by attending the Event. The ICE Show AG complete privacy statement is available at this link.

7- APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
The exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be the ordinary courts at The ICE Show AG registered office.

Despite all the efforts we made since 5am this morning in order to have an 100% ready lake Village tomorrow, due to the exceptional snowfall occurred in the past 16 hours pouring more than 60cm of fresh snow, we are sorry to inform you that the event has been cancelled for safety reasons
