The I.C.E. St. Moritz Moves to Late January

A Strategic Adjustment in The Winter Calendar

St. Moritz, 7 April 2025 – A few weeks after the last edition of The I.C.E. St. Moritz, it is time to take stock and set new goals. The event brought an unprecedented turnout, and its expansion from the lake to the whole city of St. Moritz has contributed significantly.

In our constant refinement of The I.C.E.’s concept, we have studied the best position in the evolving international calendar of winter events, and we are now pleased to announce the dates of the 2026 edition. The event will be moved forward by three weeks, finding a strategic positioning on 30th-31st January. This shift, settled in agreement with St. Moritz and the other events on the lake, was made to optimize logistics and facilitate the travel planning of great enthusiasts and collectors, thus allowing them to get the most out of the prestigious series of events taking place across both Europe and the United States in the first months of the year.

In fact, two moments will get spontaneously to be defined. The first half of February will remain dedicated to European automotive gatherings, starting with Rétromobile in Paris, while in the latter part of the month the United States will host Cavallino Classic, Moda Miami, and Amelia Island concourses of elegance.

Furthermore, the new week will meet the needs of an event that, year after year, has recorded an ever-increasing attendance and, consequently, requires a higher availability in terms of both infrastructure and accommodation, which at the end of February is more limited, being very high season.

Marijana Jakic, CEO of St. Moritz Tourismus, expressed her enthusiasm for the agreement:
“We are extremely pleased with the incredible success The I.C.E. St. Moritz has achieved in such few years. We are committed to ensuring that the event continues to receive the necessary support, particularly in terms of logistics. Considering the global schedule of our events on the lake, we are convinced that the new dates will be beneficial for the town and winter tourism in St. Moritz.”

Marco Makaus, Patron of The I.C.E. St. Moritz is equally thrilled about this new chapter:
“We are very happy of the new format of The I.C.E., which expanded to the whole town and stretched to the entire week. Integrating the city with the lake as the main stage gave birth to a true cultural movement. Furthermore, the idea of positioning the event at the end of January, between other important gatherings, aims to revive the old concept of the Grand Tour. Collectors and the audience will be able to enjoy a dynamic cultural movement across Central Europe, possibly embarking on pre-event tours with their classic cars, before leaving to the United States.”

As The I.C.E. St. Moritz officially marks its new dates, ticket sales and applications for the 2026 edition will open starting from June.

Despite all the efforts we made since 5am this morning in order to have an 100% ready lake Village tomorrow, due to the exceptional snowfall occurred in the past 16 hours pouring more than 60cm of fresh snow, we are sorry to inform you that the event has been cancelled for safety reasons
