PLEASE NOTE THAT MODERN CARS ARE NOT ADMITTED.

For the 2024 edition, the committee has created 5 categories:

Open Wheels

This class is dedicated to the most specific racing cars ever: single-seater Formula and Grand Prix cars, i.e. the most unlikely St. Moritz cars.
Over the decades, Grand Prix races have seen anything from racing cars derived from two-seater road cars – such as Bugatti 35s and Alfa 8Cs – to purpose built single-seaters like the Formula 1, 2 or 3 of the postwar years

Barchettas on the lake

Italian journalist Giovanni Canestrini, on first seeing the brand-new Ferrari 166 open racing car with coachwork by touring famously said: “It looks like a small boat”. The definition has stuck ever since (especially for two-seater open racers of the 1950s), and barchettas are possibly the most proper cars to be driven on the lake.

Concept Cars & One Offs

Concept cars have always shown the designers’ ideas way before they were adopted by series production, while one-offs have been produced for those owners who wanted something bespoke. These super-rare creations have always been the most precious non-racing automobiles.

Queens on Wheels

This class will gather some of the most iconic cars of the 20th Century, as seen in period driven to St. Moritz by sportsmen and socialites.
