St. Moritz, 23 February 2024 – Despite all the efforts made since 5am this morning to get The I.C.E. village on the frozen lake ready for you all, we are regretful to inform you that, unfortunately, due to the extraordinary snowfall that has been affecting the entire Engadin for the last 20 hours, the event has been cancelled.
The snowfall, still ongoing, is an exceptional event, which has not occurred to this extent in St. Moritz for quite a few years, having caused the partial isolation of the valley since late this morning.
The over 60 cm of snow that have fallen do not allow us to guarantee access to The I.C.E. village as well as the safety of all participants.
We thank all those who worked tirelessly to make this event possible, especially our partners and sponsors and, equally, all those who managed to join us or will be forced to change their plans due to this communication.
The appointment is for next year, inspired by the same passion that guided all previous editions.
